SILFS Logic Prize

1) The Italian Society for Logic and the Philosophy of Science (SILFS) will award, biennially, a SILFS Logic Prize, aimed at promoting logical research in Italy.

2) Scholars who are affiliated to any University or Research Centre based in Italy, irrespective of their role, nationality, gender or age, are eligible for participation.

3) The prize is awarded by an evaluating board appointed by the SILFS steering committee. The board will be composed of five logic scholars, affiliated to Universities or Research Centres based in Italy.

4) Applicants are requested to submit an original manuscript written in English, not exceeding 30 pages, on any topic that can be considered as pertaining to logic (by the standards of the international community of logicians).

5) The prize consists in: a) publication of the selected manuscript in the journal Logica Universalis; b) payment of the successful applicant’s participation costs (travel, accommodation, registration fee) for the World Congress of Universal Logic.

SILFS Logic Prize 2018

1)Payment of the successful applicant’s participation costs (travel, accommodation, registration fee) for UNILOG'2018 in Vichy, France.

ii) Publication of the selected manuscript in the journal Logica Universalis

iii) Applicants should submit their manuscripts by the 31st of January, 2018, in a PDF format, to the email address silfslogic2018@gmail.com.
